Mirage, an exhibition co-curated by NOVA24’s Mara Magyarosi-Laytner, Raymar, and Tryst Red, explores the vast qualities that experimental photography can hold. Featuring Detroit artists in conjunction with national and international artists, Mirage expands the boundaries of traditional lens-based material expectations to prove that there is more to this medium than meets the eye.

This exhibition will close with a reception on July 31st from 6-10pm. This event concludes the NOVA24 | Photo + Film Festival, so we hope that you will be there to celebrate!

Mirage, an exhibition co-curated by NOVA24’s Mara Magyarosi-Laytner, Raymar, and Tryst Red, explores the vast qualities that experimental photography can hold. Featuring Detroit artists in conjunction with national and international artists, Mirage expands the boundaries of traditional lens-based material expectations to prove that there is more to this medium than meets the eye.

Meet us at Office Space Gallery on Sunday, July 20th as a part of the Art Detroit Now Art Crawl, a summer afternoon of cross-location programming highlighting over 20 contemporary visual art spaces along Grand Boulebard. At Office Space Gallery, we will be have an artist opening from 11am-4pm as well as a performance by Graham Cassano at 2pm.

This exhibition will close with a reception on July 31st from 6-10pm.

"The Golden Year" is a love letter to Kameron Sheffield's life and experiences heard through an exploration of the music that has gotten him to this point.

Occurring on the night of his golden birthday, this performance will be a fully immersive experience featuring music for solo saxophone, chamber music, video, jazz, and more!

The bar at The Congregation will be serving a menu of curated cocktails and drinks crafted by Kameron. Who, in addition to being a musician and composer, works as their Front-of-House manager.

Featuring the works of Jill Scott, OutKast, Little Dragon, Mammal Hands, and more. Plus original compositions by Joseph Rubenstein, Clayton Woosley, Kameron Sheffield, and mathyu djän.
