2026 Open Call

This short list of incredible photographers + filmmakers have been selected by their submissions to the 2026 Project Open Call by festival Co-Executive Directors, Mara Magyarosi-Laytner and Raymar.

NOVA24 | Photo + Film Festival is a melting pot of multiple spaces and curators, so the next step is that this list is shared with our network for potential placement this year. Each space is looking for something different, so if you are a part of this list, watch your email - things move fast!

However, in past iterations of the festival, sometimes incredible work falls through the cracks. Being a part of this Short List is not a guarantee of being a part of the festival. We will do our best to make sure that the work that is the best fit for each space is placed there, but there are limitations.

It is our hope that by sharing the short list publicly this year that this can be another way that these artists are acknowledged for their incredible work. Congratulations!
