Want advice on getting more exposure? Need some guidance on how to network? NOVA24 Co-Executive Director Mara Magyarosi-Laytner and Executive Board Member Miles N. Reuben will be hosting a workshop presentation at the Usher’s New Look space at Michigan Central on Saturday, July 11th from 11-2 PM.
One of the biggest struggles artists can face is expanding their scope and getting more eyes on their work. During this workshop sponsored by College for Creative Studies, we’re determined to help fellow artists and creatives looking to get their foot in the door of the wider creative industry.
We will explore best practices for connecting with industry experts, give insight on information artists should prepare alongside their work, explain how to look for and choose open calls effectively, and more! After the talk, there will be opportunities to ask questions and engage in dialogue. This free event is open to photographers and filmmakers of all ages, and emerging artists are highly encouraged to attend!
